The
Neighborhood Watch program is NOT in place to watch the
"neighbors", but, rather, it is there to watch "over" the
neighborhood.
Altamonte
Springs is vulnerable to hurricanes, tornadoes and floods.
Consequently the Neighborhood Watch is in force to organize
evacuations and disaster recovery in the neighborhoods, if
necessary.
Unfortunately, Country Creek is not exempt from burglars,
vandals and other law breakers. Therefore, the Neighborhood
Watch has added duties because of this and by having a good one
operating in our neighborhood (prompt phone tree to report
vandalism etc...) we can deter these criminals or call out the
Altamonte Police department.
